I'm Chika Isago, also known as KiKa and I based in Yokohama, JAPAN.

I found my passion for photography in Italy, where I lived to work in fashion.

Since then, I’ve pursued photography.

My core job has me making bespoke wear for women. I work my career into my photography through the understanding of fashion. 

Having been involved in the fashion industry for about 20 years, I learned visual balance and how to make my own philosophy.

Many of my photographs are of my everyday lives.

Everyday lives are not the same boring things every day, but change little by little. One of the meanings I take photographs is to be able to check to have space in my mind can feel those changes. 

Life is a journey of knowing who I am and it is my own documentary. It is also about depicting others from the same era, and even the essence of human beings.

I know that the important things in life are not something we go looking for somewhere far away, but are scattered throughout our everyday lives.

I create story works based on these themes.

I am blessed that photography has given me the opportunity to meet new people.

My goal is to share my love of trees and the beauty that surrounds us with the world.
